Many a beauty queen have been adorned with Sherri Hill designs
including Rachel Smith, Miss USA 2007, Tara Connor, Miss USA 2006 to name but
two and the list goes on. The fashion world was taken by storm when Sherri
Hill's 2007 and 2008 selection of pageant and prom dresses graced the catwalks
around the world. Caitlin Upton, a Miss Teen USA runner up, was quoted as
saying that the average American could not locate the USA on a world map was
wearing a Sherri Hill number at the time and was a You Tube smash hit
overnight.
A dress designed by Sherri Hill can be fresh, exciting, saucy and
glamorous, but always tasteful and elegant. Her red striped, black strapless
satin dress with its jeweled bow is a real head turner and for that glittering
glow there is her pleated lavender chiffon dress, frosted in silver with
beading of liquid silver.
One will never be disappointed with a Sherri Hill design, one of her
more revealing dresses does not leave much to the imagination it is purple in
color and has full frontal cover but is backless then split to the waist and
brought together by ties. In another design Sherri has used many yards of
elegant satin-finished silk that makes the wearer feel like a princess floating
across the floor, or there is her short party dress design that is sequined in
silver and gold, constructed from silk chiffon ruffles, tiered into an empire
waistline then moving up a gear there is her beautiful black, full length,
satin gown with red lining and a split to the thigh.
