 A petite, shorter girl may want to wear a dress that creates the illusion of length both in body and legs. A shorter hem line will attract attention to your legs also an empire waist will appear to make your torso longer. Wear a pair of stiletto heals to add extra height.

 Larger ladies have a large style choice of evening dresses. For example, if she is pear shaped, why not show off that botty with a figure hugging design or even a skirt that drapes vertically and a bodice, that will create a balanced effect. For those with an apple shaped figure you should consider V-necks and an empire waistline to visually balance your upper body, but be proud of your curves, flaunt them.

 Those women who have an hour glass figure have a balanced shape so can choose virtually any dress to flatter their figure in any way they wish. If they want to emphasize the upper body then wear a fitted corset or bodice or wear a pageant dress for that elegant look. Also a mix of complimentary colors would be a great enhancing feature.

 Really thin girls could employ dress styles that incorporate copious amounts of cloth, gathered or shirred or perhaps you could attract the gaze to your bust  by using embellished or contrasting color styles.

 Large busted girls may want to enhance the bust area further by utilizing a strapless dress or search for a prom dress that has widely spaced straps to understate your chest. A V-neck is also good for diverting the eye towards your face.
